Crazy numbers

Last week the You Tube account was making steady progress towards 200k downloads, with the God Hates Fags videos it has just passed a quarter of a million (250,000)...now that's a big number.

Having read some of the comments people have put on these videos, it really makes plain why we are told to love one another, to love enemies, to bless and not to curse, and so forth.

The hatred that this original hate message is generating is quite surprising, disturbing and saddening. A negative lesson, but still one worth seeing worked out in front of us.

Crazy numbers ... not that numbers are important though eh! (Funny how people only say that when their numbers are small!)

Well said Dinsy. It's the old double standard of the "gospel of tolerance". Only tolerate those you can tolerate. Or as JC put it,"If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?"

I don't remember Jimmy Cricket saying that? but he's spot on anyway...don't you just love how Jesus gets everyone with the old sucker punch, Paul was no mug either, trotting out the old classic...'love your enemies', then Peter got in on the act with
'honor all people' and James as well with 'doers not just hearers' (ie actions not words, don't be hypocrites)
These guys must have had a conspiracy of love going on...

as for numbers, 250,000 just made me laugh, we have become the first mega church that can fit in a confessional booth.

good to hear from you

Hi Shieldsy.

Dave, just don't even think about eating the Wildlife Explorer's laptop! Oh, Lent is over now so perhaps we're OK.

Actually watched the prog. last night, very sad, felt v. sorry for the kids. It had one positive effect on me though, made me change my mind about it being OK to protest against the war at military funerals.
