Junk

I have just been through the woods next to my house and cleared all the rubbish (a monthly event), this filled two black bags from just a 100 yard pathway. Poly foam chip trays, plastic bottles (Coke etc), glass bottles and a preganancy test reading positive (some family are in for a shock).

The world is so full of junk, and most of it will be around for some time yet, the plastic bottles will probably take many many years to rot away.

1. I trust the person who threw away the positive pregnancy test read it first, or, as you said, someone's in for a shock in a few months.

2. I was a crisis pregnancy counselor for 5 years... and sometimes it was difficult reading even my clients' tests for them. (Of course, we would then have to deal with the emotional fall-out together, whatever it was... Harder still.) Eeewww, Dave - you got close enough to that old test to read it! On behalf of whoever disposed of it without, ahem, wrapping it according to rudimentarily hygienic methods, I'm sorry about that...
