Monsters in the Dark - Plato

Afraid of the Light?

Plato

One can easily understand a child who is afraid of the dark. The real tragedy of life is when grown men and women are afraid of the light.

But if we are living in the light of God's presence, just as Christ is, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from every sin.

Reminds me of a song lyric - Sally Oldfield, Samurai of the Sun - "You will be afraid of the light if your heart is dark". It's a good album I think. As well as saying exactly why we don't want to come into the light. But I wonder are we more afraid of what we might see, or what others might see, about us?

Why this obsession with blood? Tis a christian trait that most normal people abhore about christians.

We are ALL sons of God.

The Blood of the Lamb was drumed into me while young - thus I became a vegitarian.
